Commonly Asked Questions

  • How long is a Sunday gathering?

In total, a Foundation gathering typically lasts 75 minutes in length. Gatherings begin with the Foundation band leading the church in music–song lyrics are shown onto the screen, so you can sing along and/or engage however you feel most comfortable. In addition to music, one of our pastors will share a message that engages our everyday life with the teaching of Jesus. There will also be prayer and time to take communion. Don’t be shy to linger a little longer after the gathering. We have free ice cream from our Ice Cream Truck!

  • What’s the environment like at Foundation?

Sundays at Foundation are exciting, casual and relaxed.

Come as you are–no matter what you believe–you belong here. This doesn't mean that we will agree on everything, but we have found that you don't always have to agree to become friends.

  • What about my kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week. At Foundation, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Foundation Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra 15-20 minutes to get signed in for the Foundation Kids experience. Kids ministry is offered at every Foundation Gathering for kids ages 6 weeks through 5th grade. All kids are checked in and out of each gathering.

Our middle school and high school students meet on Sunday nights.

  • Where do I park and where do I go after I park?

As you get closer to the church, you will see parking signs and helpful volunteers to guide you. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the service begins to make sure you get to the gathering on time. When you arrive on campus, head over to the green tent. There will be greeters ready to welcome you, answer any questions, and show you around.

  • What should I wear?

Come exactly as you are - don’t dress up or down for anyone.

  • What kind of church is Foundation?

Foundation is an independent Christian church centered on Jesus and the Bible. We’re part of the Restoration Movement, which simply means we try to keep the focus on Jesus and avoid making church more complicated than it needs to be. You don’t need a certain church background to belong here.

  • Can I watch gatherings online if I can’t attend in person?

Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person gatherings, you can always watch it live or watch the message on-demand on our YouTube channel.

  • Can I talk to a pastor?

If you have any other questions or simply want to talk to a pastor, we’re on the other end of this line and are eager to chat with you. 678-661-6330
